The Tomb Raider movie (2018), based on the popular video game series, tells the story of Lara Croft, a fiercely independent young woman and the daughter of a missing adventurer, Lord Richard Croft. Struggling to find her place in the world, Lara works as a bike courier in London and refuses to accept her father’s death, clinging to the hope that he might still be alive.
